HAPPY February We are in quarter three for the 2025-2026 school year.

Member-at-Large:

Subcommittee captains, guest speakers, ad hoc committee, and members who want to bring project ideas are welcome to join the Executive Board meetings. Let Mrs. Huyghe know! Our next chapter meeting is on February 5th, 2026.

Partners, Participants, and volunteers: welcome back! Stay in touch for volunteer opportunities and service hours! Check out the Friends of Foster Kids website and FaceBook page for service with FoFK. Chapter & community service will be in the quarter folders on Schoology for members.

*Each quarter, service hour sheets are to be submitted through Schoology by midnight before the set deadline.

Unified Basketball

Monday, December 15th – at SHHS versus Grosse Pointe North – game time 4:00pm

****Thursday, December 18th – at Grosse Pointe South – game time 4:00pm – bus will depart SHHS at 3:00pm. Grosse Pointe South 11 Grosse Pointe Blvd Grosse Pointe Farms 48236

Wednesday, January 21st – at SHHS versus Dakota – game time 4:00pm

******Friday, January 23, during 5th hour, Cousino High School will host its FIRST Unified Basketball game against the Sterling Heights High School Unified Basketball team.

Thursday, January 29th – at SHHS versus Clawson – game time 4:00pm

Wednesday, February 25th – at Little Caesars Arena vs Belleview – game time 12:00pm – bus will depart SHHS at 11:00am – see attached flyer for ticket information. Bus will bring players back to SHHS before their buses leave for home.
