March is Reading Month

Jefferson Elementary would like NHS members to help them with March is Reading Month!

Teachers choose books to be read but personal favorites are allowed too with approval from Jefferson librarian.

This will be during school, so you must fill out a permission slip to participate.

Dates: Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 & Tuesday March 12th, 2024

Times:

Grade 2: 1 PM to 3 PM

Grade 1: 12 PM to 2 PM

Kindergarten: 2 PM to 3 PM

Jefferson Elementary Carnival Night

Jefferson Elementary is hosting a Carnival Night!

Volunteers are needed to run carnival type games, help students, serve food, take tickets, etc.

Date: Friday, March 8th, 2024

Time: 5 PM to 8 PM

Motor City Aquarium Society Winter Auction

Motor City Aquarium Society presents the semi-annual auction of live tropical and pond fish, supplies, and accessories!

Volunteers who work the entire event from 9 AM to 4PM will have a full lunch meal be provided. Dress is casual.

Date: Saturday, February 24th, 2024

Time: 9 AM to 4 PM, can be split into two shifts
