Volunteer Role: Reading Mentor
Responsibilities include:
Reading a story aloud to a group of 3rd–5th grade students
Assisting small groups of students as they practice their reading skills
Encouraging literacy and boosting students' self-esteem
Creating positive and supportive interactions with young learners
